You used to be my Baby, but time passed on by
And now you’re my little girl, asking all the reasons why
The world is waiting patiently for you to spread your wings
While I pray silently for you to embrace more simple things
Its funny how in just one hour, you change from pink to green
From being a little girl of ten, going on sixteen.
Innocence is so fragile. I wanted to depict Chloe’ as she is now; a beautiful ten year old who is full of fun and wonder. Yet looking at pictures of her one can see the beginning of young adolescence. Someday in the not so distant future the boys, who like her now, are going to have to be held at bay with a shotgun. Innocence is so fragile.
